How to   Use Soy Milk as a Milk Substitute          


Soy milk makes an excellent substitute for ordinary cow's milk in cooking. In fact, it can be used for almost everything that ordinary milk is often used in, including gravies and sauces, cream soups, baked goods, casseroles, stews and curry dishes.

Although soy milk tastes very different from cow's milk, and some people who like the latter do not like the former, there is little if any effect on taste of cooked foods by replacing cow's milk with soy milk. Moreover, there is no loss in nutritional value, and there are possible health benefits, including low fat and lack of growth hormones and antibiotics.
